Information for Choirs Venue Prudential Center, Newark, NJ Time: Registration: Spectators: Paid Admission Instrumentation: Choirs will perform from a stage furnished with keyboards, Hammond Organ, drums, choir microphones and a bass amplifier. Other instruments must have advance approval. You cannot use your own keyboards. CD Instrumental Tracks are accepted.
Judging Criteria Choirs will be judged by the following standards: Time Limits: Performance Time is 2 1/2 minutes. Music Selection: Gospel songs or medley with sufficient contrast. Size: Tone: Quality; Consistency; Projection Intonation: Soloists and Ensemble Diction: Clarity; Naturalness Rhythm: Accuracy, Synchronization Interpretation: Dynamics; Phrasing; Style; Expression; Tempo Stage Presence: Appearance; Poise; Follow Leaders Direction Ensemble: Entrances; Balance; Releases; Precision
