Two of the most popular
national gospel choir competitions; Pathmark
Gospel Choir Competitions and the Black Music
Caucus of New York's International School Gospel
Choir Competitions are going to be scheduled for
the Presidents Day Weekend this February!!!
The events will take place
at different locations in New York City. There
are no known changes to the format of each
competition. They will remain on their
respective days.
08/07 - Please pray for
Dr. Camille Taylor. He was gravely ill due to
incorrectly prescribed medication. At the time
of this posting he has been in the hospital for
over 2 weeks. He was paralyzed.
11/10/07 - Dr. Taylor was
hospitalized again this week. Applications have
been mailed out this week.

The
Nat'l Assoc of HS Gospel Choirs presents the NC
High School Gospel Weekend Retreat for all high
school and collegiate gospel choirs interested.
This annual summit brings choirs together for a
weekend of fellowship, training (vocal and
leadership), ministry, and fun.
Special guests include Micah Stampley, Lexi,
Jonathan Nelson, Lejeune Thompson, Sherri
Jones-Moffett, and Blanche McAllister.
Workshop Topics include vocal training,
leadership training for officers, choir booking
and touring, musicians' clinic, life in the
ministry, and more.
There
will also be a Crazy Praise Choir Fest on Friday
night and a concert featuring the Jonathan
Nelson and the Summit Workshop Choir on Saturday
night, both free to the public.
Individual registration is $15 and groups with
10 or more can register for $10 a person.
International School Gospel Choir Olympics

The Elementary and Middle School
School Gospel Choir Divisions will be held on Thursday 2/14
There is still time for
Elementary and Middle Schools to sign up for the Valentines Day Competitions
